Poverty is the absence of choice. Choice requires opportunity. The opportunity to learn. To grow. To be your own person. This is what we do at Green Malata. We try to provide choice. So that our students can create their own opportunity. Help us break the cycle of poverty in Malawi . Any amount, no matter how big or small, will make a real, tangible difference.
Robin Broadhead, paediatrician and Children's Fund of Malawi co-founder shares his thoughts on Green Malata.
At Green Malata, all the food we grow as part of our Agriculture Course is used in our tea room or sold at the local market. We do not use pesticides, and only employ organic fertilising techniques, including our own compost.

Crafts student shows us how to recycle paper into new materials.
Entrepreneurship plays an important role in Green Malata's philosophy and we make sure it is part of every course we offer.
